Winter training will be in the gym at our normal location in Oakland. This is a gym floor, sneakers or indoor shoes only. We have Nov - Dec sessions as well as Jan - March sessions. All training is specific to speed and coordination, ball control, skills training and becoming an all around stronger and more confident athlete. Skills on the gym floor is much more challenging but a great way to really develop better ball control and quicker movements.
All girls in our program receive a custom Onyx sticker after they complete a season as a reward for their hard work. The sticker changes every season for the girls to collect. We also do custom J.GIO MVP pins for one player in each session that we give out at the end of the season as well. Not necessarily the most skilled but a player that stood out to us as a motivating teammate, a positive attitude and extremely hard working. The girls also win different themed stickers throughout every session as a way to reward, motivate and build confidence.
